This is a remix from Jugo de Mango's Derrmando album. I penned the first song off of that album, Linda. It is a catchy opener in a bright major key and melody. But what if i did it in a minor key? That's how this track got new life.

I started to imagine what it might sound like as a darker version of the original. Playing the original live was fun, but it felt overly optimistic at times. Is that even possible? I think so.

This version sounded fresh and so I felt the concept of Dia de Los Muertos creep into the love story. What if the protagonist was in love with a dead Catrina and the only way to be with her was to pass on to the spirit world? Would he go? Would you go?

This one is dedicated to all those celebrating Dia de los Muertos.

Why do you love this album? Well, it is the quality of ALL the Analog Africa releases , the astonishing presentation- artwork, AWESOME booklets, the mastering, the music first of all and the feeling you connect with it and the artists involved. Due to not earning enough I changed from vinyl to CDs, but I am glad for the high quality downloads of the vinyl only releases that you are able to burn to disc.
